    Student Director applications are due to Mrs. Wheeler tomorrow!  All students applying should check the theatre board on Thursday to see the student director list.  Student directors will have a brief (10 min) meeting after school on Friday in Mrs. Wheeler's room!

The Speech and Debate meeting today is CANCELLED!  Competitive Theatre team members going on the field trip to Liberty North Thursday need to make sure they have turned their pink and purple sheets in to Mrs. Wheeler!  You MUST have these on file to ride the bus.  You will miss your 7th and 8th hour classes on Thursday.  After 6th hour, you should report to Mrs. Wheeler's classroom and we will load the bus to go to North.  We will return from North at approximately 3:30 pm.  Please make sure someone is here to pick you up at that time.  See Mrs. Wheeler if you have questions!

Audition Packets and Sign up for the Spring Play have been posted on the Theatre board outside of room 121!  Student Director and Crew Applications have also been posted.  You can pick yours up today!  See Mrs. Wheeler if you have questions.

Speech and Debate Team members have a meeting today after school from 2:55-4:00!  This meeting is for ALL members!  See you there!

HERITAGE MIDDLE SCHOOL SPEECH AND DEBATE TEAM AUDITIONS

This year Heritage Middle School will have its very own Speech and Debate Team.  Students on the team will be able to compete in acting and debate events against students from other schools in the area.  The team will travel to two tournaments to compete in February 2016.  This is a great opportunity for anyone who loves to act, debate and compete!

**We will hold auditions to be on the team**

Here are some more details . . .

WHO:  Any 7th or 8th grade student in good academic standing is eligible to audition for the team.

WHEN:  Auditions will be held on Monday, December 7 for Competitive Theatre events and Tuesday December 2 for debate.  Listen to announcements and check the theatre callboard for audition details and a sign up sheet, which will be posted sometime in November.

WHERE:  Auditions will be held in room 121.  Team meeting dates and times will be determined once the team is assembled.

WHAT:  Students on the team will compete in National Junior Forensics League acting and debate events.  These events include:  Humorous Interpretation, Dramatic Interpretation, Improvisation, Poetry, Prose, Storytelling, Comedic and Dramatic Duo, Comedic and Dramatic Duet Acting and Public Forum Debate.  More details regarding the events will be discussed in the audition packets as well as at team meetings.
