 The Final Cast List for NEW KID will be posted on the Theatre Board AFTER school on Friday, September 9! Anyone who auditioned should check the Theatre Board before they leave to see if they received a role! The first rehearsal will be on Monday, September 13 from 3:00-5:00 in the Band Room!

To All Who Auditioned . . .

Thank you so much for auditioning for this year’s Fall Play!  We were so

impressed by your monologue auditions!  Auditioning for a show requires a

lot of courage - you should be proud of yourself no matter the outcome!

Please remember that casting decisions are very difficult!  Roughly 70 students auditioned and there are only 31 roles in the play!There are so many talented students at this school and it is always hard for us to

choose roles! If you did not make this show, please do not give up!  We WANT

you to keep trying!  If you would still like to be involved in the show, you can turn in

an application to be on the crew! Please also consider auditioning for our Spring

Production!!

If you did make the cast of the show, congratulations!!  You should be very

proud of your monologue performance!  We are really excited to work with all

of you!!  

 Auditions are quickly approaching for the HMS Fall Play!! Anyone interested in auditioning can pick up an audition packet from the Theatre Board outside of Mrs. Wheeler's room. You should also sign up for an audition date and time on the Theatre Board. To read more about the play you can select the Theatre Productions tab at the top of this page or look at the info posted on the Theatre Board! See Mrs. Wheeler with any questions!

 Yesterday, we inducted new Thespians into our HMS Junior Thespian Troupe! They are all very well deserving of this honor! We are looking forward to lots of fun Thespian activities next school year!!

Choose one of the Audition Songs to prepare for your audition.

Step 3:

Rehearse your Audition Song! Plan gestures, facial expressions, vocal expressions and movements that will make you stand out and fit the character! Use the Vocal and Accompaniment Tracks to help you rehearse!

Step 4:

Sign up for an Audition Time! Sign ups are posted on the HMS Theatre Board outside of room 121 (At the top of the LMC stairs). Bring your own pencil to sign up. Write down or take a picture of your audition time so you don’t forget!

Step 5:

Fill in and submit the MADAGASCAR Audition Form.

Continue to rehearse your Audition Song. Also review the scene cuttings that you might be asked to read in your audition.
