Auditions for The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe will be held on February 10 and callbacks will be held on February 11.

How can YOU prepare???

• Read the book The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe by C.S. Lewis.  You can check it out at the HMS Library!!

• Watch a movie version of The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe to familiarize yourself with the characters and the storyline.

• Practice your British accent!  Four of the characters in the play have a British accent so it is important to practice speaking in one.

• Practice acting like an animal.  Many of the characters in the play are different animals and will have stylized movements to represent their animal.  It is important to watch videos of other actors portraying animals or videos of actual animals to understand how they move.

Congratulations to all the HMS students who have been cast in the fall musical Annie Jr!  We have an extremely talented group of actors this year!  All the directors are thrilled to begin working with such a phenomenal group of students!  Our first rehearsal is Tuesday, September 2 in the HMS auditorium from 3:00-5:00pm.  See you there!
